You're talking about Labor Day weekend, right? I could be in. My Labor Day at the beach house in NC fell through. :(

More trail time sounds great!

Wish I could, but I have family commitments. Plus I am going to be out for 2 weekends after that. Every once in a while I need to spend some time at home. lol

Windi...that's what Mon-Thurs evenings are for! Geesh! :) I've already warned my friends that I'll be pretty hard to find for a while now that I've found people to hike.

Yeah, that's what I said, but my husband sometimes wants me home. (I'm sure he's also glad I'm gone at times too!) What's up with that? Plus, I do have to work every once in a while, which includes a weekend every now and then. lol

Sweet! Could I talk you guys into camping somewhere I could night hike into on Saturday night? This is a good trail, and the time frame will be perfect. Just what I need before the KT!

It sounds good to me so far. I'm going to order some maps so I have an inkling of an idea about the trail.

If Coyote (or someone) who is familiar with the area can set out some water, I'd be happy to reimburse you for water/gas expenses.

Also, are dogs allowed on this trail? You know who will be with me.

MG, coming in again at night? Are you trying to get mauled by my dog?? LOL.
