I thought this article was interesting...so I was wondering how many here agree with it.

I don't know if I'm more happy than anyone else. Generally I'm about as happy as I can tolerate. Whatever the mood, it's all transitory...thank God.

Older women were less likely to report being sexually active than older men, and were less likely to be in intimate relationships. But women, also, were more than twice as likely to be widowed as men. Here's the breakdown:
-Ages 57-64: 62% of women and 84% of men reported sexual activity in the last year
-Ages 65-74: 40% of women and 67% of men reported sexual activity in the last year
-Ages 75-85: 16% percent of women and 38% of men reported sexual activity in the last year

Looks like we just need to find a young stud by then!

I question that. Most of those people can't remember yesterday, let alone last year!

I find it quite interesting myself. However I think you need to define what "sex" is. SEX SEX or Bill Clinton Sex!

Well no offense, but I would think that at a certain age you'd have to worry about your heart as much as anything else...Viagra can't solve a heart attack.

sweetpeastu - Worrying about my heart is the cardiologist's job. My heart already has five bypasses(1990) and as of July it has a difibrillator workiing with 3 wires going into my heart. When I went to visit with "My Old Flame" three years ago, my cardioogist cleared me for any possible action and wrote a prescription for 70 Viagra Pills. I already had enough samples so that I never used the prescription. He has since given me samples of another pill, but said that I could only expect about the same results.

The viagra did work partially, but not enough. However, my Old Flame managed to made me happy. I think she called me "Bill."

So my heart receives it's due recognitiion. I was never in any danger of a heart attack. At that time I was doing bicycling, workouts, aikijutsu(defensive combat), swimming 2.25 miles, mountain backpacking 3 or more months each year, etc.

Hey, just a couple of month ago my mum took the Jethro Tull poster off the wall in my old room. I think it was 'catfish rising' or so. Whatever.
Oh dear, the most unhappiest age is just ahead of me. I am 38 and after all I have heard the 40s are the least happiest period?

Get:

a) some sleep.
b) some sun.
c) a raccoon coat!

That would be much simpler.  If you went with the raccoon coat, then you'd need a straw hat, a ukelele and a Stutz Bearcat.

Any 'raccoon' who came by that coat second-hand, that's who!

I forgot about the dandelion wine.  It's Entirely Possible that you never saw that hokey television program, so those clues may be completely useless.

Yes, firm up your buns and go out and shake a tail feather now and then.

Life begins at 40..............if you let it.

I gotta meet this Divinity girl one of these days, she gives me a reason to smile more often than not.

It should be 59.5, not 60
That first article was pretty good.

I am 58. Since I turned 50:

--Took 4 years of West Coast Swing Dance Lessons
--Backpacked for a week in the Sierras almost every summer
--Climbed Mt. Whitney twice
--Trips to Europe, Canada, Hawaii
--Finished my doctorate

Age 59.5 is more interesting than 60 because that is when you can withdraw your 401k and IRA funds without a penalty!!

sweetpeastu - Sorry, I inserted the wrong link. I'm using my daughter's laptop and experiencing lots of trouble doing it. Here is the correct link. This report is much shorter.
