I am planning a trip on the Loyalsock trail but at this moment I don't know what part. This is low mileage, slow paced hike. There will be ample time for picture taking and sight seeing on this route. Starting Friday and ending Monday, times to be determined, I expect take it easy and make the most of the opportunity.

This is most decidedly not a butt kicker. There is amply opportunity for those. Think the BFT in October. But for family friendly, easy going ramble this would be hard to beat.

Details as they develop.

I can't make it. I've got other obligations. And I threw my back out again yesterday. Not good :(

As much as I love the Loyalsock...I'll be 2 miles up in CO for the weekend with killer views, a bunch of hotties, and no oxygen.

Hypoxia rules!

Not sure Rev, but I'm really wishing I had just let my grass grow.

Trip Plan
Looks like I will be starting from the Ranger Station on Little Bear Creek Road. My intent is to camp at the site beyond Smith's Knob at mileage 8.15 Painter Run.

The rest of the trip is still in the planning stage. Depends on if I can get my wife interested in coming with me. If yes then I'll do one thing. If no I will be open to new possibilities. Leaning toward "no" atm but we'll see.

Looks like I will be starting from the Ranger Station on Little Bear Creek Road. My intent is to camp Friday night at the site beyond Smith's Knob at mileage 8.15 Painter Run. Saturday night will be spent at the next site down the line at mile 10.05 with a day hike on some loops from that position. Sunday I will make my way back to the campsite 4.60 at Pete's Path. There My family will join me Monday for a day hike to the Ridge. You are most welcome to come along on this adventure.

Life has a way of messing things up. Between a surprise ministry responsibility and things that need to be dealt with in the home and other issues, I am completely reworking the plans. Arg.... oh well... at least this time it is not a health concern that has prompted the cancellation. That's always a good thing.
