Looking for camping,info.in the Mackinaw bay area.

“Considering heading up to the Mackinaw Bay area,this fall and just curious as what there is to do up that way.

I looked for info. on the internet and it`s kinda vague unless I want to Hotel it,which I don`t.

What I want to do is some hiking,backcountry camping and canoeing,not mall shopping !!
Any information would be great thanks..”
