5th District Appelate Court

“The 5th District Court of Appeals has built a new facility in Fresno California.
I was invited to submit photographs of the "California Landscape" for review.
twenty seven of my photos have been chosen and will be part of a permanent
display in the new facility. All twenty seven photographs will be printed at 20"x30" !

Karen from Perfect Frame in Fresno is framing all of the pieces...she drove down
from Fresno yesterday with the mats so I could sign them. They hung the photos today.
Our Governor is touring the facility tomorrow.

The mats were linen....really nice...I'm sure the frames will be too.

According to Karen the inside of the new building is supposed to look like Yosemite..
Lot's of granite, etc. that explains why they chose so many Yosemite photos.

Lizs- It's not a paying gig...I just allowed them to use my files...they paid for the printing, matting and framing. A bunch of local photographers contributed photos to the project....I think there are over 200 photos in the display. I mostly did it for the exposure. Lot's of folks expected at the grand opening and various receptions.

And hey....it couldn't hurt to have favor with the appellate court justices.
