I thought about running over to Cherokee and check out the Wild Plum yesterday...then I remembered the motorcylce ralley was there this weekend! So I opted for a nice nap!”

“Be aware that little kids with very good memories about what they heard and saw will be on this trip, you boozers! I still remember an incident from when I was a4 or 5, at a ski lodge. Some guy barfed up all the real egg nog and wine he was drinking; I walked over to him and loudly aid "Hey Mister, you spilled something!" It makes my mom cringe to this day.”

“The weekend of this trip is looking pretty good for me. I had planned to go down to Sipsey the following weekend but I think I'm gonna have to bail on that one.

On Saturday, I was thinking about hiking to Spruce Flats Falls from Tremont, then continuing on the old railroad grade to Buckhorn Gap and picking up Meigs Creek trail to the Sinks. But there would need to be at least one other person to go to set up a shuttle between Tremont and the Sinks. Total mileage would be 7.5. Any takers?

I'm thinking about bringing one of these 5 liter mini-kegs of some Oktoberfest beer if some folks will help me with it. I only want a couple of beers and these hold fourteen 12 oz., or 10.5 pints. These mini kegs are only good for a couple of days once they're tapped so I don't want it to go to waste.
