“I did a search and found multiple kudos threads, and decided to make a general thread to praise those manufacturer's who stand behind their products.

Being a backpacking coffee addict, one of my best Christmas presents ever was the lexan Java Press I got from my son.

But the years finally took their toll and I broke where the plunger screws into the filter.

Woe !! GSI do not even make that model anymore.

But, I sent a hopeful e-mail to their PR dept, and to my joy today - the brown paper package in the mailbox with a replacement part.
