i must take issue with this. the military has done NOTHING to keep me safe in my home. my stairs have no handrails. there is a small rug that ive tripped over. i have a cracked walkway that someone will fall on and sue my ass. where is the military to keep me safe?

I spent Saturday on a 9/11 Memorial hike. I carried the Flag to a mountain top and it waved there along with flags on 47 other peaks in New Hampshire.

Today, I talked to my class about 9/11. I also discussed the day with a group of burn survivors and made plans to participate in the memorial hike in '08 in a special tribute to the Fire Fighters who lost their lives that day. So yeah, I took the day seriously and didn't see it as an opportunity and a platform to pick.
