“A good decision dude. I've not personally hiked with spindle, or Rev, but would any day of the week, given the opportunity. Just don't push yourself till you actually break, ok? It does you no good to find exactly where your limits are if you have to get out via helicopter and/or bodybag. If you decide not to do the big hike, my invitation still stands, for coming with us next month. The big thing is that it needs to be fun or you wont do it again.

Yeah I agree the alky stove and axe appear to be a bit clueless. But a shovel is a standard part of any Dig/Squat/Bury kit, depending of course on the size of the shovel.
