Well, not really. Some places are still blocked in Russia. However. weather & climate changes have caused human migrations and adaptations in history. One can only begin to wonder at what changes a clear circumpolar route will allow.

hey, there's not shrinkage in a sleeping bag. . . I'm not worried. . . the contrast between the cold outside and the warm in the bag'll make it even . . . err . . . . uhhh . . . . better.

Alaska, and canada via the actic circle out of NYC. That would be pretty awesome.

It would be cool to piss on an iceberg from the rail of a cruise ship!

One must watch the windage, though.

I used to watch ice bergs calve from the deck of the USCGC Clover (or was it the Minnow) in '76 and '77 when stationed in Alaska. Never pee'd on an iceberg; exposure of those parts was saved for the occasional passing Navy ship.

It's funny about that flag waving stuff; you either carry it in your heart or you don't. Waving and hollering don't change much.

Yup, waving the flag doesn't do much more than fray the edges.

Then the flag-waver would have to buy another U.S. flag made in China from Walmart.
