Just remember lyra, I was responsible for the fashion trend of wearing shorts, leggings and gaiters at the same time. You should wear that for one of your magazine shoots.

I don't know about that, LZ...you should take that up with ENS! I've seen pics of him sporting the same classy fashion.

I don't see how you boneheads can wear calf-length gaiters in warm weather.

Lyra, I can't wait to see you at Masten.
You will probably require your own site if what Sacco and Chili say is anywhere near accurate.

Paddles, not the helping of the poor - that's not disgusting; that's good work and all that stuff.

No, what's "disgusting" is the slime that goes with said work:

Ron made his first visit to the Almazovo orphanage in Moscow. It was the first time we at MPI had ever ventured into a secular institution in Russia in this fashion. Ron's heart was touched by the living conditions of the poor boys in that orphanage..... From working in areas of evangelism, preaching... - Mission Partners website

They're kind of subtle about it, but it's obvious they like to force their childish fiction they call a religion on the most helpless - such as orphans. It's help for the poor alright, but not without without pressure and a big expectation in return. Queue some religious nut to tell me that "oh it's not like that, we don't force it" - BULL#&%!$, I've learned too much to be fooled by empty denials.

Like I said, disgusting.

Rev, as sarge would say "be specific".

Dayhiker, I said nothing personal about the guy's wife. I referred to what the "mission" was doing, or that's what I meant to get across. I only intentionally insult MarkO's and Violin's wives.

Heck, xtianity has its foundation built on brainwashed "useful idiots" to borrow an expression. His wife I'm sure knows not what she does, in the larger scheme.

Your "disgusting" comment came totally out of the blue and is completely unrelated to this thread. Therefore, you took it upon yourself to require someone else to read your mental diarrhea in order to move on in the thread. That specific enough for you?
Ramblinrev

The thread is about what people do for a living. Commenting on what a person does for a living is "completely unrelated"? Okay, you believe in a zombie son of an anthropomorphized god, so I'll just put that down as Christian logic.

Therefore, you took it upon yourself to require someone else to read your mental diarrhea in order to move on in the thread.

Christians are so immature with their belief system, sometimes it's amusing to watch that spill over into other areas of life. I don't "require" anything. The adult thing to do would be to ignore it. Grow up.
