I'm heading out that way for a conference at the end of October. Have a few free hours here and there and want to know what you all recommend I do.

“Adventurists are in Loveland, CO - abotu 60 miles north of Denver. I'm in a suburb just nortwest of the city.

What part of town is your conference in?

Theres a couple of state parks close to town - Rocky Mtn NP is about an hour and a half away from downtown.

Downtown is a walking mall - fairly nice - lots of food/bars/clubs.

Denver Nuggets and the Avalanche will be playing.....

“Loveland Ski Resort would be your best bet that time of year. www.skiloveland.com What days of the week will you be here?

Maybe we should all meet up one night for drinks? I'm always up for a drive for one of my favorite redheads! Will you be renting a car? Boulder would be cool!”

“It would be great to see you guys! I'll be in Denver October 27 through November 1st. The evening of the 27th (Saturday night) is probably the best chance for meeting up. After that the conference will be in full swing.”

“I really doubt you'll have any ski resorts open yet - but its possible.

I'll be in PA that weekend :)”

“Arapaho Basin and one other resort (beer kills brain cells, I don't remember) is planning to open mid-October. I should be around, can meet in Boulder or Denver.”

“A-basin and Loveland were both open around October 14 of last year.

I don't think we have anything going on Saturday, Oct 27 so that should work for us.

Nonconformist and I will be in Denver this weekend (Westminster, to be exact). Planning an easy dayhike for Saturday morning, prolly someplace in Rocky Mtn NP. Send me an email if you'll be around. NC has already been in touch w/ Roam, via a thread on TT.”

“I'm here...well, still in NYC until Saturday. Sorry...it's been a month of hell...super busy. Anyway, my friends and I are thinking of exploring the Rocky Mtn NP on Monday.

Bummer about Saturday but hope you guys have fun at your party! Maybe we can work out a different time?”
