“Splindette, I have been joking with you. I couldn't off my cat even if I wanted/had to. She has an appointment Thursday at 3:30:) Her history is that of a barn cat and she was given to me in Nov/Dec with assurances that she was spayed and shots up to date. Within days of moving in, she escaped the house and lived until recently in the woods surrounding my home. Through the winter I left the doors open to the garage and pole barn so she could take shelter from predators. Occasionally I would see her scurrying about on the edge of the woods during the summer, but she never came near. Friday she showed up all social and friendly. Weird and sudden change in behavior causing me to think she may be planning to launch a family. When I posted earlier I already had the appointment for whatever must be done (shots, worming, pregnancy check, etc). Depending on her diagnosis, she will either be spayed sooner or later. No sacrifices here, but for mine (sigh).”

"ritual sacrifices" is one of those things that gets lobbed at us whenever some fundie gets his or her knickers in a twist. It's "policy" to swat the idea on the nose with a wet noodle whenever it comes around.
