midwest mobfest '07 planning page

“I thought I would give this it's own thread to help raise awareness, and get us to all throw in our opinions about location, and date etc. Lets get this going folks! So far there has been talk of Red River Gorge KY, Deam Wilderness IN, and somewhere in northeast MO. Ideally this would be a loop that would maybe have a couple options for arrival and depature, it also needs to be somewhere that we wont all get fined for camping in too large of a group. So speak up you buckeyes, you Chicagolanders, you hoosiers, Illini, you Michiganders, you Kentuckeyans, and whoever the hell else that is up for a bit of a drive.”

“How about 8-10 instead? If peeps are takinga vacation day they can take it on Monday instead of Friday and it would be the same thing.”

“ack, no can do, I just looked at my work weekends, thats a weekend I have to work. However if you plan it the weekend before or after it may be doable. Maybe. I have to consult with other here first.”
