I'm a little iffy at this point. Mostly cause I'm ok with cold, I'm even ok with rain. Cold and rain? Not so much. I'll be watching the weather closely.”

How far are we camping off of the road Friday night? Where is the Saturday camp?

Hell, I guess it's about time for me to read the trip plan.

I would rather plan on gloom and doom and have the weather turn out delightful, than plan on delightful and have to fight off wildbillwhen he trys to get warm by combining body heat.

alrighty y'all... anyone that already has their backpacks packed... hop on the ol' scale and weigh yourself with and without the pack to see how much it weighs in at... i just did and i've got a 38lb pack with no food... so considering probably 2-3 lbs of food i'll be right around 40lbs... not to shabby for a 15 degree weekend...

Cancellations
Hey, how do you take your name off of the list of attendees? It messes up the head count on who is going to be there if I leave it on. Sorry about bailing, but my sidekicks and I had planned to stay through Monday evening. Don't care to drive that far for two days. Sunday night looks like a mean one.

Pack Weight
My pack is a clear rubbermaid container with all my stuff neatly organized. No sense in packing everything only to ride in the car for 5 hours and then set up camp. Plus my parting clothes may get wrinkled!
