Fence the Borders

“So why can't we just fence off the borders with Iran and Iraq, the US and Mexico, heck, the US and CANADA?

I know how to fence MILES of border in HOURS (bet 6 months to do the entire US Mexican Border)....but the PETA folks would whine and cry, and the Left would cry Foul, there would be weeping and crying and gnashing of teeth.....”
