“Well ya know what - It was a great year! The World Series would have been superbly sweet and we're all disappointed BUT - when this season opened, we were really hoping for a better than 500 year and the playoffs seemed like an unreachable dream.

Things sure went our way - there were some incredible plays made and the team found a way to really capitalize when they were given a chance.

I didn't watch much of the Series since I was up in Pennsyltucky, but it sounds like the Boston pitching staff really took care of business.
