Selling my Hennessy...

I have decided that I prefer a side entry hammock to the bottom entry Hennessy so I am selling my Hennessy Ultralite Backpacker A-sym (new $179.95) with the Undercover and underpad (new $129.95), Over Cover (new $34.95) and Snakeskins (new $19.95)...that comes to $364.80. The only thing wrong with the hammock is one small clip at one end is broken...this does not effect anything, from what I've seen...it was so small that I never used it...I am not going to split these accessories up...it's all or nothing...what you would have to buy on your own are the tree-huggers if you want to use them. I would sell all the above for $250 and that includes shipping...anyone interested? For those unfamiliar with the hammock, here is the website...

you might also want to post this over on hammockforums.net - a bunch of nutty hammockers hang out there for some odd reason ;-)

tell me about it. i happen to know she babies her gear too. that little broken thing is for sure no big deal. you bet i am all over this. that plus last weekend she came so close to making a hammock camper out of me and now she may have just finished the conversion.

i fear i may be swinging back to the heavier side of backpacking, however. sigh. does it ever end!

A little weight can be worth the comfort.

you realize it could take a while to set up camp if you have to climb two opposing rock faces to set that hammock up. But you won't need the tree huggers... that's a good thing.

wow...i have an a-sym 2.5 hammock, but all the new accessories, make it look complicated as hell, heavy, tons of parts/peices...isn't that why you goto a hammock...simplicity?

my sleeping setup is much simpler than a hammock. i was thinking comfort and site selection as being key factors here.

i am ordering the tree huggers. they seem to add to the ease of setup. does the snakeskins work with the underpad attached? i am so looking forward to trying this out.

what size tree huggers should i order? i am sure these were what i saw on your new hammock. do you find these about right for most conditions in the midwest mata?

just got the expedition ASym with the snake skins....they are great. I ordered the Snake Skins 4 which means they word with the undercover and overcover attached also. So, Jimmy san, get the Snake Skins 4. for what you need or check the web site out under the 'online shopping' tab.
The treehuggers I got with mine are about two feet long and really nice...the whole set up weighs 2 lb. 12oz.
