Time to make Egg Nog again...

“This is a recipe from a co-worker that his family has spent years perfecting, and in my opinion is DA BOMB! Now there is no booze in it but of course it can be added. Some like Dark rum, or light rum, or whiskey, or all, but any way you mix it, it's good stuff! BTW there's no fat or calories in this either... ;-)

Mulhollen's Famous Egg Nog

Ingredients:

8 eggs

5 cups Whole Milk

1 pint half&half

.5 pint Whipping Cream

1.5 teaspoon Angastora Bitters

4.5 teaspoon Vanilla

¾ teaspoon Nut Meg

¾ cup Sugar

½- ¾ teaspoon Cardmon



Directions:

In a bowl mix Eggs, for the finest Egg Nog, fish ou the egg sack.

Add spices, Bitters, Vanilla, Nut Meg, Cardmon.

With an Electric mixer, mix on High till smooth, then add sugar while still mixing.

Add Half&Half and Milk.

In Separate Bowl: Make Whip Cream. Then fold Whip Cream into mix. Chill…….Enjoy!!!!

The nanny prefered it with none to very little rum. I like it either way. But last night it was about 2oz rum, and about 10oz nog. Mighty tasty! vanilla, nutmeg, enough milk fat in every glass to make eating a dozen krispy kreme's look healthy... good stuff. And since the whipping cream quickly rises to the top, it makes the greatest milk-mustaches ever!”
