By merging these two quotes together I was attempting to highlight the absurdity of highlighting the absurdity of societies missteps. "Yes", we made mistakes as a society from time to time, we're not perfect beings. So what? Do we have to spend millions of dollars to highlight that fact? It's known that we are a cruel animal. That's our nature. Let's focus on trying to better ourselves instead of wasting our resources on expressing our guilt.
