An age has passed...
since I've posted any sort of ramble. The time has arrive to be more present with those mortals who demonstrate qualities above the traditional muggle mentality.

What have Khatru and I been up to since our last reporting back at the beginning of the year? Oh boy, the answer to that would be a long tale, but since I'm known as a long tale (winded) writer, I'll tell you. If you need to get back to work, you're excused, but are invited back when you can make it.

Khatru has recovered completely from his encounter with the dreaded (and deadly) Lung Flukes. The cost was astronomical, but the Dude is still here and he's as ornrey as he ever was. We are glad of his presence. He sits court now at our new home in Hardy Arkansas, The Ozark Classic Crafts Mall, which is now our favorite haunt of choice. We both can be found there most every day. When not at the Mall, we can be found at our girlfriends (the fair and most beautiful Nannette) estate. She has 5+ acres off the Spring river in the woods and the leaves are falling like snowflakes in the breeze. It is a magnificant day here in the Ozarks...blue skies, brilliant fall colors and a warming breeze. Last evening, we (Nannette, myself and Khatru) shared a bonfire with our very good friends Sanford and Page. We affectionately call them Sage, as they are inseperatable. They are the former managers of the store in Hardy called "For Mother Earth". A hemp store that is quite fun to hang around in. They have since left FME and Page now rents a booth in the Mall. She sells hand died roving, embroidering, rings and other creative things that she makes...she is known as the Fairy Godmother (retired). It fits well with my Wizard status. Sanford is a graphic and caracture (sp?) artist. We all are having such a grand time here in Hardy Ar.

I'm back making my wizard staves and have now embarked upon making wizard wands of incredible magical abilities. I'm always asked if they really work, and I say YES, watch me make a smile appear on your face, and it always works. Smiles are easy in the Ozark Classic Crafts Mall.

This place (Hardy) is filled with great energy and light. Somr of you know this for fact. I'd invite the rest of you to come and share in the magic of this place. There is much to do in this world and there is a gathering of creative, magical, intelligent persons here in Hardy. It is astounding that such beings are gathering here in the heart of the Ozarks on the Spring River.

More later as the fit takes hold of me. For now, Its nice to sit and share present tales. I miss my river, my TT friends, and the woods, but I do get to witness the woods and river each day. I've left the corporate world never to return. Life is good, and so are the delights that God is allowing me participate in. The children are outrageous as they blow our train call whistle. Come on down and have some fun.

Thanks all...

Namaste

Marc

Back from lunch, I got a chance to read the whole thing.

Nice report!

OK, Hardy, Arkasas is now on my list of places to see. It's one of the states that I have not yet seen.

Does SPAM have one of these Wizard Staves?

Ya know - it's looks like I'm going to have a lot of free time in my future. If MarkO goes (along with a couple of the local crazies) we just might get someting going.

What do you guys think?

Hope you're doing well. I thought of you this past weekend. I was backpacking on the Buffalo River and camped near Horseshoe Bend (the place where the river goes underground). Take care.

Great to hear from you, Marc, and real pleased y'all are doing so well.

Don't be shocked if I show up at the crafts mall and say hello sometime. I'll be retired in a couple of months if things swing my way.

Marc, it's so good to read of your life. What a journey! I am so pleased to hear of your contentment. That is one of life's greatest joys IMHO.

pretty amazing...
I won't say its been easy, it has been anything but. What it has been is amazing. The grace that has been bestowed upon me is totally transforming though. I finally found that place that we all wish to find. A place of no time, no stress, no worries and no competition. Thanks all. stovie...come on down, it'll be a righteous re-meeting.

I commissioned a mural to be painted outside my workshop, it will be finished this week. That alone would be worth the trip.

Now, where am I going to get coffee filters for my morning coffee? Dang...I'm reduced to using napkins. I get better service on the river!!!

Pepper fiends is a memory,
but rumor has it that he is going to ressurect it in the near future. What that exactly means since we in Hardy live on Hardy time, which in no way resembles any time in any other place.

Great to hear you and Katru are doing well. I will definitely stop by your place next time I drive thru on the way to the Eleven Point or Spring river.

Better yet, drag out the boat and go float with DOD and me sometime.

No, I have NOT given up paddlen nor bakpakin. I've just had to put my energies towards manifesting the rest of my life. My love(s) has now expanded to beyond the wilderness.

Thanks Dawn.

Mike, ifn ya DON"T stop, I'll throw things at your vehicle as you pass the Mall. Don't think that I miss ANY kayak or canoe as it idles past my window. I'll surely see YOU buster.

I" hope to float on water soon, and tear up some trail too.

4 months since I acquired the dream...whew...I'm just gettin revved up. Come on down and see MY emporium.

He's using a TT'ers real name. Some of us actually hike together and know each other by first names. You should try it sometime.

I understand the concept dayhiker, but it's #&%!$ comments like that which is exactly why I choose not to hike with many of you. The fact is, it's a strange comment considering there was no prior postings on this thread - as if Stikmon knew some guy named "James" was going to read the thread, like he gave him a heads up or something. Plus, I know Stikmon has hiked with more than just one TTer, so it seemed odd to me that he'd single out one TTer to say happy "T-day" too ... especially on a thread about Arnkansas. So your #&%!$ comment aside, maybe you can see why I asked the question now.

dayhiker - That's fine. I just asked the question. You act as if I was rude or something in my question, which I wasn't, and consequently were rude yourself. I was being very friendly with my simple question, even attempting a bit of light humour. Don't be such an #&%!$.

dayhiker - I know you said that in your second reply. I didn't say anything about that, except "that's fine". I was referring to your FIRST reply when saying you were rude, which you were, ironically, because you called me the board's biggest ass, but the reality is you were being an ass, not me - as you are now realizing you have to IGNORE your own post to justify your defense.

My comment about no sarcasm only applied to the 2nd post, which was the point I was making. I never made any claims about the amount of sarcasm in the other posts. They're obviously very sarcastic. Yes, I'm totally being an ass here. You're also the pot calling the kettle black.
