I would like to get a chair kit. I have the Insulmat Insulated inflatible. Insulmat only seems to sell full chairs and not conversion kits. Will the Insulmat work with the BA chair kit?

I realize it's shocking that someone started a gear thread, but what the hay.

The dimensions are the same. It should work.

That was my thinking. I thought I'd post in case anyone had a horror story to share.

The Insulmat works with my Thermarest chair. Never even seen the BA chair... (causing me to question what kind of gear whore I am)

Should work. I've used my InsulMat in a Thermarest chair kit. Only question might be folding the thing again and again in nearly the same spots, but note "nearly the same" - :-)

I have used my InsulMat in a chair kit.
Worked, but I think it's not a long term thing I would do.

The insulmats are cheaper than BA by a good bit. Insulmat doesn't do the chair kit and BA does. Maybe you're onto something there SS. Hmmm, I may need to study this a bit more.

Insulmat does make a chair kit: http://www.summithut.com/catalog/remap/product.asp/pfid/25468/

On their website it was listed under waterproof gear instead of under chairs.

I've never heard of a BA chair. That causes me to question what kind of gear ho dayhiker is :)

Big Agnes.

If you go to their site they sell company t-shirt. Keep in mind, they mainly make 3 things, sleeping bags, tents, and mattresses. The t-shirts say, "Do It In Comfort" and other one, "Pitch A Tent"

Good stuff.
