good luck rocksee, i had a TAH AND BSO 4 years ago in nov. i had my cousin help take care of me for 2 weeks. it was a slow recovery. thought i could do a hiking trip sooner than expected and had to bale after one night on an ocala trip. hystersisters was a help but it did cause me to worry more than what i needed to.

You're in my thoughts and prayers Rocksee. Just to balance out what Pamela said, my mom mellowed out and became nice. Have no fear. Once the hormones level out you'll be fine.

NGB- that's right no more plugs and pads needed. If they leave my ovaries I'll still PMS that beats cramps any day.

Why did I have to open this thread while eating a roast beef sandwich?

I've heard many euphemisms for that over the years, but.....  'crapola'?     LMAO

I hate PMS too.
Try being the husband that has to try and please a PMSing wife. My ex claimed she had PMS about 3 out of every 4 weeks. ;-)

SS she probably had a hormone imbalance-
Sarge- sorry you clicked on the wrong thread.
I am in a mini crisis right now- this op is needed only I won't be able to do much for several weeks. No DH (darling Husband) in the wings. My roommate is at the lab all day and I have to consider alot between now and the 21st.

You might have to get some home help for a little while. :-(
Does your insurance pay anything on this?

About the only way to please a pms'ing woman is to leave her alone and let it run its course.

Scorpio party
Suz said mine was the best gift- lots of great musicians showed up, jammed and I got myself home ok. Really a docile gathering.

Pre- Surgery consult time
I have the most amazing womanDr/Surgeon working with me. She told me she wants me up and out to the Mall come Friday- Ha! That will be two days post-op. I go in on Weds morning -less than 48 hours to go.

Rocksee, if this is going to be done abdominally stop at the drugstore and get yourself some Mederma. The friction of tissue that happens when you apply it will lessen the scar and underlying scar tissue significantly.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Sass- she is planning a LAVH and the scarring should be minimal (been there once already) TAH would be last resort. I'll check it out. And for crying out loud I get my "last" period this morning and can't take Ibuprophen today and I am out of tylenol!
