Stealing gear in National Parks
Thats how I roll. Since the damn liberal hippys erased our right to protect ourselves, stealing has never been easier. Yeah,Yeah I know what your're thinking. But I can only afford denim and canvass tents. I need some of that ultralight stuff.

Last week some yuppy left his Benz unlocked at some trailhead, so I got in put the car in neutral and pushed it off the cliff. See you in the Park!

Me neither, I'm a long time lurker here. I'm familiar with a lot of the posters and their shtick.

This is a good place also, I just never took the time to sign up. I already participate in too many forums as it is, lol.

I left a carabiner attached to 50' of utility climbing rope at our last site in GNP. We passed the next group going to that campsite - Laura Bush and her entourage. I called GNP about it a few days later but they had nothing for me.

Rich Basturds stealing from the poor any which way they can.

By the time the secret service got done interrogating the rope and unraveling it to make sure there were no explosive charges twisted into the core, then turned it over to Homeland Security to make sure it was not a terroristic threat the only thing left was the biner. That of course was cut into thirty semi-regular pieces to ensure that any explosive detonation charges would be too small to do any serious damage there was not much left to return to you.

Breathe a sigh of relief you were not traceable to be billed for the investigation.

Does anyone on the other site backpack?

Last time I was over there some dude was freely dispensing advice about trail life....

....just before he admitted he hadn't actually been, but he had "read some books" about it.

The forward guard checked all our ID's before we encountered the main party. We also registered our trip.

Maybe they just accessed my bank account and I never saw it happen?

You can't even come up with a new insult? You have to roll out that old insult, lol.

You temporary homeys should check out the trips threads here. You may not hang here all the time, but we got some great trips over here. Perhaps Steve will start a trips page on the new site.

If he ever gets it up and running.

I was lurking around here a month or so ago, I was so tempted by the Trap Hills trip a bunch here went on.

I ended up going to southern Illinois w/my regular crew that weekend.

LandNav in the midwest forum is always posting trips over on our side. I'm going to try and hook up with them in the spring.
