So i just got back from REI with a new MSR Hubba and a Petzl Tikka XP. Both for only 230! One month ago that would have cost me well over 300! I love corporate size Christmas sales!

Enjoy that wraptor suspension system. I know I love my alpinisto. I can actually run with a full pack, and it doesn't bounce all over the place!

I had the salesperson load it with 40 pounds while I shopped for an hour....no problems...I'll only have 30 in it tops...

I just picked up a new Nimbus Ozone for $105 from Ebay and a new REI Chrysalis UL (sp) for $89 thanks to a special code which took $25 off the outlet price. Now all I need are some winter clothes for Linville.

21-

I think you will be happy with the Hubba. It is very easy to set up, free standing, and there is enough head-room to sit upright inside. I used one on my AT thru-hike and I have no complaints. In high winds it will be a little tricky to set up.

I just found this site (I may behind the times) I just got a Marmot Venus 12 oz jacket in my size and not a gross color for $41.00, regular price is up to $159.

The site has used and new gear not only for hiking but also mountain and road bicycling, snow sports, climbing and paddling sports.

And you can sell your gear there too!
