“So i just got back from REI with a new MSR Hubba and a Petzl Tikka XP. Both for only 230! One month ago that would have cost me well over 300! I love corporate size Christmas sales! - 21 I cant wait to get to Linville Gorge in January to try out all my new gear!” 9:28:54 AM 11/24/07 “CONGRATS! Beats droping 50g's eh? LOL! Enjoy. I wish I were going to Linville. Perhaps later in the year I'll make it.” 9:33:17 AM 11/24/07 “got me a new pack at REI, not on sale though.....Gregory Z55.....nice...” 2:45:17 PM 11/24/07 “Enjoy that wraptor suspension system. I know I love my alpinisto. I can actually run with a full pack, and it doesn't bounce all over the place!” 2:53:00 PM 11/24/07 “I had the salesperson load it with 40 pounds while I shopped for an hour....no problems...I'll only have 30 in it tops...” 3:03:29 PM 11/24/07 “I just picked up a new Nimbus Ozone for $105 from Ebay and a new REI Chrysalis UL (sp) for $89 thanks to a special code which took $25 off the outlet price. Now all I need are some winter clothes for Linville.” 6:53:40 PM 11/24/07 “21- I think you will be happy with the Hubba. It is very easy to set up, free standing, and there is enough head-room to sit upright inside. I used one on my AT thru-hike and I have no complaints. In high winds it will be a little tricky to set up.” 8:14:10 AM 11/25/07 hey 21 “I own a msr hubba hubba and love it use it in a very windyand rainy night and it did great. see you at linville ,” 5:28:32 PM 11/25/07 “awesome jb... yea didn't you get it, like at a garage sale or something like that? i remember you telling us last year...” 7:50:25 PM 11/25/07 “ya i did and love it” 8:54:47 PM 11/25/07 “a variation on a theme cheap new gear” 7:16:34 PM 12/30/07
