Wouldn't eating a chicken be considered animal cruelty? At least relations with livestock is illegal in NY, I don't know about other states.

Sarge...how do they get into the bag?

YES I know how...I was just curious how others did. I personally prefer to cut a whole in the top, suck the juice out, then open up the orange and eat the meat!

I don't play favorites, I think Jesus and Tilt would make equally good bartenders.

I cut my oranges up into 6 sections, cut off the peel, cut each of the 6 sections in half, put them in my mouth, chew, swallow, digest...need I continue?

CD...I do that too...who cares if it is lady like or not! There is sometimes we just have to sacrifice.

I just find it interesting how different people eat different items.

Is it true the white part inside has lots of vitamins?

'Zest' are tiny strips of the peel.... the very outside skin, mostly, with very little pulp.  You may be able to get zest using a regular grater, but use the smallest holes and use just a little pressure.

I usually take a very sharp knife, cut the orange peel off and than carfully cut the fillets out of their skins. I eat it together with tomato, mozarella, basil, salt, pepper, little vinegar and some olive oil.

This may be a dumb question but are oranges hard to come by in your part of the world?

Not at all. The Spaniards and the Portuguese have large plantations of citrus fruits and are the main supplyer for the European market (nearly all year long). At other seasons oranges may come from other countries - maybe Florida?

Cheeto's and a porn video make for an orange you-know-what.

Orange peels on or in a wood stove make the cabin smell great, BTW.

XL - when I was having trouble getting a passport(time wise) a guy with the passport agency told me they have a major problem with New Yorkers applying for passports for trips to FL. I told him that I thought we'd fought a war over that and that we were in fact part of the Union down here. It took him a minute to get my drift.

I haven't eaten an orange in so long, but last time I ate one, I believe I cut it in quarters...shoved one in my mouth, sucked out the juice then peeled it off the rind and ate the "meat"..Chili bought some tangerines last night. I meant to grab a couple this morning to bring to work, but forgot...those I would peel and eat a piece at a time.

the correct way to eat an orange is to have a hole in it, your lips cover the hole and your tongue slides inside the hole, as you wiggly it around on the flesh inside the hole it will start to get moist, then you slowly suck the juice out the hole, if your keep doing this the hole will stay moist and juicy..the nectar is really good to taste, as the juice tends to dry up sometimes squeezing the area around the hole works, if not push in from the backside at another hole and that will usually make the juice flow again

hope that helps
