Finbar Sleep Hood, awesome for cold weat her.

“I used a Finbar Sleep hood last year on a cycle tour.

It is an excellent piece of gear for cold weather camping. At times is was a bit too warm, and I'd have wriggled out of it by morning (in bellow freezing temps). It also came in handy around camp to stay nice and toasty while cooking, setting up & breaking camp.

I used it in XinJiang and Tibet at altitude (up to 5000m), in september & october. I ended up selling it along with other gear I didn't want to carry in Nepal. The outfitter I sold it to had never seen such a thing, but was very keen on trying it out once he bought it. Hopefully there won't be too many "knockoffs" now.
