John Muir Hanna
Saturday, December 1, 2007

"John Muir Hanna, a long-time Napa [California] resident and grape grower, passed away peacefully on Saturday Dec. 1, 2007, at the age of 98. He was the oldest surviving grandson of California's most renowned naturalist & conservationist."

This is a lengthy Obit, and I don't have the html code to show the link here, but if someone can take the following link to the Obit page, I'd sure appreciate it - thanks!

The memorial service was so well attended, you couldn't find parking anywhere. The church where the Memorial took place is locaed downtown, and there's limited parking there as it is...

I guess, at 98, you've accumualted a lot of family and friends. And considering his history, there were many there, like myself, simply to honor that history, and feel, perhaps, a bit closer, and more connected to our passion, and those who forged the path before us.

Good on ya!

Concern for the environment is certainly not a recent phenomenon.
