“I was gonna come on this trip but on Friday got offered the chance to work 3rd shift saturday night for double time...since I just got married and have debt up to my eyeballs I needed the money.”

“Well, I'm left scratching my head and not knowing what to say. That's pretty much how I felt Sunday morning too. and Saturday night. Come to think of it I felt that way all weekend. It was a long strange trip. Yep, that sums it up. Coyote, thanks again for the fire wood, and the gravy. That was really good, and just the thing on a cold morning.

I feel for ya Fenderbender. I'm sick now too. No fever, but I have an ugly cough developing in my chest.

I gotta tell ya, it was pretty weird going to bed with a bunch of cars around, and waking up with them missing.

“Some friends and I made it down Sat. afternoon and parked at Blackwell-opposite end from your group I guess! Anyway, we hiked to Cope Hollow along the re-routed trail. The FS didn't ask me, but I approve! Nice and dry (mostly) no more back and forth across the creek. Camped at Bass Pond-frozen over (mostly) I played on it a bit, no one else would. Some previous occupants left a BUNCH of firewood in the form of Survivorman/Man vs. Wild makeshift shelters. We left a note thanking them, telling them we'd be back for the rest:-)
