She does not like cold weather...anyone remember the Adena trip? Guessing she will not attend this, however if she does, Golfhiker is in charge of her.”

“man i'd love to make this trip...lots of people i haven't seen in a while and would finally get to meet the infamous nigal but it's a little too close for comfort for my wife...they've moved her due date to the end of february”

“I posed this on the Friday night camping thread as well. Anyone camp at the site at the junction of the Grubb Ridge and Axom trail (second parking lot)? I have a vague memory of passing this site.

This will be a better place to camp Friday night for we will be leaving from this lot in the morning and will not have to pack up everything and drive over from the firetower lot.

Anyone have any comments on this. If this works, I think we will move here for Friday evening camping.”

“the map you posted doesn't have the grave yards on it but isn't that one by a grave yard?”

Hey, I did sprain my ankle on Sunday morning. By the time I got home I couldn't walk on it. Shoulda seen me trying to unload the car! LOL!”

“And you STILL blew by me, you suck.....”

“Well, it wasn't REALLY bad till I stopped moving. The drive home is what really screwed me.”

“When I rolled my ankle on Roan Moutain it was pretty much like that. I was able to walk, though, very, very slowly.

After getting to the car, we stopped for gas about 20 minutes into the drive home, and I could no longer even think about putting weight on it.”
