campout tribute to Bearmagnet

“HPM already got toasted in Bearmagnet's honor. Those of you who know HPM realize just how rare this is. I had fun, and I'm sure BM would approve. :D”

“Marko, I am planning to go downtown to the service. I'll give you a call tomorrow.”

“ok, plan has changed. BM loved Old Rag, so Jackstraw and I are going to head into Shenandoah tomorrow and then night hike up to around the 2000 feet line and stealth camp (which is allowed, no camping above 2000 feet). Then during the morning, we will climb to the summit of Old Rag and toast him on the summit.

We will then climb down and go to the service.

If anyone else wants to come, let us know, there is a special important detail that I am leaving out, which has to do with all the summit bid, the toast and the funeral, so more participants would be great.

I wish Bison could make it. He was the first TTer to meet bearmagnet and they had a fun trip to Old Rag in February of 2004.
