Chilis New Toy

“So I got home last night and Chili had a surprise for me. He followed me to the bedroom and while I was getting out of my work clothes, he put the batteries in and fixed the strap. Then he turned off the lights so we could test it out. He about put his eye out with the thing trying to turn it on. He finally got it on and we played with it for a little while, testing out the different settings and trying it in different locations to see the effect. It was soo cool and soooo much fun. I know everyone will want a red gizmo. We finally had to put it away and go fix supper. But no worries, we got it out again when we went to bed. Chili strapped it on and we played with it some more…We decided it would be so much fun to have out in the woods so we are going to bring it with us this weekend. Chili is just dieing to show it to everyone. You all will not believe how cool it is. And it is just the best toy EVER!!!!!!”

now The first time that I picked it up I had a big surprise.
For right on the bottom were two big buttons that looked like big green eyes.
I first pushed one and then the other, then I twisted it's lid.
And when I set it down again, well here is what it did.

It first marched left and then marched right, then marched under the chair
and when I looked where it had gone it wasn't even there.
I started to cry my Daddy laughed he knew just what i'd find.
when i turned around my marvellous toy came chugging from behind.

Well The years have gone by too quickly it seems, I have my own little boy.
And yesterday I gave to him my marvellous little toy
His eyes nearly popped right out of his head and he gave a squeal of glee...
Neither one of us knows just what it is but he loves it just like me.
