Dan Fogelberg 8/13/1951-12/16/2007

Dear friends,

Dan left us this morning at 6:00am . He fought a brave battle with cancer and died peacefully at home in Maine with his wife Jean at his side. His strength, dignity and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him.

He was only 56, it was prostate cancer.”

“we have a few of his LP's still, and tapes and cd's. his music can make me cry so easily. "Leader of the Band" is a favorite. "Run for the Roses", i'm sure i could go on...”

“Yep, Pamela, those two are great. I had "Longer Than" at my wedding (way back long ago when I was married - been divorced way long now, lol)...

And I always loved "Another Auld Lang Syne."”
