“Based on experience or 2nd hand information?”

“Note #2 is based on an experience I just had today at the a/p.

I went to lunch with my Mom. Mom has a ramp badge, so instead of parking in the barage and all that garbage we sent throught the two different security gates and parked right out on the ramp where the planes sit. This is very convenient as you can walk right in to the food court from here. After lunch and some last minute shoping at killer discounted airport stores we headed back to the truck, only to be stopped by the TSA guard that said she didn't have the right kind of clearance to ezcort me out onto the ramp. "WTF?" How are we supposed to get back to work, not to metion the fact that there is a company truck parked out there, and no one to take it back! Well then they want to know how the hell I got out there to start with, and we give them the story, then they have to call over there, and find out why they let us through, and al the while we are stuck there. What a mess. Finally Mom goes to get the truck by herself, and I have to wait for her to drive all the way around the a/p and pick me up out front like a passenger just arriving. What a damn mess! I was over an hour late coming back from lunch. Perhaps I should blame it on SC's evil game that I played and built some bad karma up. Figures.”

It's a yen-yang thing cause I just found out that my mom doesn't have to work on christmas and this will be the first time in ten years that my whole immediate family will be able to be together all day on christmas day. SO SO cool. I'm totally stoked, and to make it better It's at my house! WOO HOO!”

One of our pilots described his trip from the airport to the hotel as "the Mogadishu mile". Ever try to get some sleep so you can fly a loaded airliner with gunfire outside your door?
