Nope, I'm up in the far north, dealing with my first Maine winter - though maybe mot for much longer - who knows?
I know it's been a long time, but how did the new job work out for you?

Cos, I could be remembering this wrong, you were changing gigs, you disappeared for along long time, then came back mossless.

the gig change went off without a hitch...and its far differnt work..but I needed a change of pace. My clients still call and miss me...which makes me feel good..but my time in that line of work was over. and luckily there was a murder today at the site i worked at...I'm glad I didn't have to deal with that today.

oh yeah...and I disappeared during the days cause at the new gig...I dare not log on to anything and post. However, I do read from the office which is ok on breaks and lunch.

MAINE? how in the world do you wind up in Maine from DC!

Sounds a bit dodgy - domestic murder or the serial killer type?

Anyhow, I'm being forced to watch Sex in the City here, with all the good parts edited out. It's a pretty strong cure for insomnia.

well its low income elderly housing. I imagine drug related but I'm not riding over there tonight to inquire.

yeah, doesn't sound like the best way to start off the weekend. There's some #&%!$ty stuff going on out there.

I seem to live in something of a crime-free area here - and it's v weird having moved from SE DC.

....where the sweet nectar of the gods flows forth like a river....

....where young and old, black and white, men and women, and peoples of all sorts shall loudly praise together....

Hell, it's after six in my neck of the woods.

One of my guitar-playin' friends wrote a song called:
Happy Hour To Closin' Time
This is a song about staying from happy hour 'til closing time and strikin' out...........a'gin.
It would make a good Dwight Yoakum song.

It was a tragedy when I went to Athens for a footbal game and Guthrie's was closed.   Zaxby's is a pretty good substitute, though,   < WINK >.   The sauce is quite similar, too..... HMMMMMmmmmmmmm....... Perhaps it was a conspiracy.

Just did a search and Guthrie's is still kicking.   I suppose it was just that location that bit the big one.

They sure have their work cut out for them going up against the Zax Monster,   LOL
