We now have enough data that a year to year comparison could be made. That is, if someone has a calculator and is willing to do the tinkering. That is, is TT growing in field participation or are backpackers getting more selective in their hiking?

Does it count as a bag night if I don't remember where I passed out?

I undoubtedly reigned supreme in last year's "competetion" seein's how I could count on my fingers the number of bed nights I had. Therefore, I will step down from the thread this year, and give some of you amature campers a chance to brag about your weekend "roughing it" adventures.

May the best TTer win!

1/2 so far...New years only counts as a half because you start it on the last night of the last year....

I'm planning to get many more bag nights this year than I did in 2007...I think I got 4 bag nights at most. That sucked.

At this point in time if anyone claims more than one... I would seriously question their reliability.

2 for me so far. Wildbill had his 40 degree bag inside his 20 degree bag, does that give him double bag nights? :)

No. Since 20 is half of 40 (I looked this up and know it's true), he only gets half a bag night. Double would be no sleeping bag:)

if he had 20 degree bag inside his 40 degree bag then 40 is double of 20 (I called my 3rd grade math teacher so I know its true) would that then be be double nights?

Mapes, shelter was clean, a few people were visiting, our group (12) were the only ones staying overnight. We went out and dragged 3 dead trees back to the shelter and cut them up! Had a nice fire from 5-9PM.
Was cold and windy by morning though. I'll be back to do some more of Harriman

Nope, just this year. But I need to make a correction, It's only 3 nights. I forgot that I decided to head home instead of staying the 2nd night at the Adena Trace Trip. If I had my way, there would be lots more. This thing called work and family seem to get in the way. lol
