“My bud really digs that show. I didn't watch it (too busy with karate classes at the time) - but after seeing a special on the making of the newer movie (which I didn't see), I was really impressed with how the show was done - so we've decided to join forces and do this.

It's an excuse to get a bunch of guys together on some fun-common ground entertainment in an environment where we can then discuss our faith. It's just something different. I personally don't get much out of sermons, and have a much greater appreciation for real-world application type things. There should be plenty of sin and real-world decision making in that series to warrant a discussion which we can apply to our lives. The discussions will be fairly brief, but knowing my friend, very propitious. (I used a thesaurus)”

We were thinking about sitting on the front porch (on the hood), and drinking beers and cooking hot dogs on our portable charcoal grill, but we decided for this instead. Maybe we can try your way next time.”
