I just really want to know how much longer the Libs and Vile are going to let the actions of others determine their perception of success? HELL Vile your hero Herr Schicklegruber built and entire society on the HATERED for a group.

Why is it that we look back to som slight either real or percieved and say this makes us unable to succeed. This silly addiction to perpetual victimhood is also visible in the reaction of the OPPRESSED to members of their GROUP who make it out (witness the exteme racisim reserved by leaders of minority communities for those who refuse to follow their victim prescription)>

Thats the fun thing about libbies, they want so much to be loved and adored by the very people who will never do so. They think by gaining absolute power (socialisim) they can make the "mean widdle men" SHOW them respect. LOL...its so much fun to watch.

LOL...Marko HATES it when we draw the connection that he is a kept guy with a pitiful "jobette" and then show how incredibly poor responsibility he has taken for his own success. The only way Marky Mark can rationalize his complete and abject failure at life is to
A. Tear others down
B. Blame his failure on some unseen "other force"

WAIT FOR IT!

Great speech!

I was pretty amazed that up until now, race was barely an issue in this contest. Its a shame that some chose to inject race into the debate, but he's certainly handled it well. Obama appears ready for anything.

The quotes come from Obama.

Don't trash Obama until he beats Billary in the convention, because Billary is probably more electable than "O" and can sling mud better than anybody. Once he gets the nod, then the "Story of O" will raise its ugly head. Then simultaneously, Ralph Nader will present a real alternative for the Dems. Go Ralph!

Obama claims he can no more walk away from this Pastor than he could a family member. Sorry, but that's just bunk IMO. You can't choose who you are related to, but you can choose who is part of your inner circle.

This all makes me wonder about his judgment in choosing who will be on his cabinet, should he win the presidency. How will he react when one of them expresses hatred for America or otherwise behaves in way that furthers the divide domestically or internationally? Keep them around cuz they are like family?

Obama made his choice. Now I will make mine.

violin
Thanks for posting that speech, Violin. It clearly exposes the race card Obama is using. I found the following interesting:

I am married to a black American who carries within her the blood of slaves and slaveowners -- an inheritance we pass on to our two precious daughters.

Perpetual, eternal victimhood.

His whole speech is basically "Wright says racist, hateful things, but it's because the black community has all these problems, so aside from his most fiery rhetoric that makes the news, he's justified, and a lot of blacks think like him, so excuse our racism."

Here Obama right out lies:

Not once in my conversations with him have I heard him talk about any ethnic group in derogatory terms, or treat whites with whom he interacted with anything but courtesy and respect.

"Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people... And they will not only attack you if you try to point out what's going on in white America, U.S. of KKKA..." - Rev Wright

I think I have it now:

Obama, take two

1) I've attended this church for 20 years. I picked it because it resonated with me as "my kind of church". His message of black racism gave me hope, since I was half black, like Halle Berry. I lived a life of hardship in a gated community, and Ivy League colleges.

2) This pastor married me to my angry, oppressed, Ivy League educated wife, and baptized my kids.

3) We worship a black Jesus. It doesnt matter if thats historically absurd or not in a post-modernist culture. If you worship a Jewish Jesus, whats with that? If we can have a black Jesus, we can have our own history on everything else, too.

4) I knew my pastor was a racist but that is just part of being a member of the black community. I disagreed with him consorting with Palestinian terrorists, but we all have petty little disagreements with our pastors. He's a distinguished theologian who makes nutty, hateful statements, but all black pastors are that way, so I stayed.

5) I can no more denounce my black racist pastor than I could denounce my white grandmother. She went so low as to use racial stereotypes.
Dolt. Both are like family. Okay, so now I do denounce my pastor for political expediency, but Im still above mere politics and my character is beyond reproach.

6) There was no reason to change churches, since all black churches are like this (angry, distorting history, paranoid). You just have to know where the anger comes from. It's not my job to fight irrational anger.

7) How about those Democratic-run inner-city schools, arent they awful?

8) I believe Don Imus had to be fired for trash talk, and Trent Lott complimenting an old racist for his states rights presidential campaign on his 100th birthday was intolerable, but nothing a black preacher can say is beyond the limit. The problem is conservative commentators who play audiotapes of my pastor, not that pastor being a loon with whom I've been comfortable for twenty years.

9) I hope that puts all this race business to bed once and for all. Im the man to bring us all together, though Ive never worked with a Republican in my life.

Just what about the speech do you find divisive?

I read it as a call to open a dialog, break the stalemate and work together to solve many of the problems facing us as a country.

Can you specify which passages you find divisive?
Reverend Truth V Wicked
9:28:28 AM
3/19/08

Divisive? How about this allusion to class warfare:

the real culprits of the middle-class squeeze -- a corporate culture rife with inside dealing, questionable accounting practices and short-term greed; a Washington dominated by lobbyists and special interests; economic policies that favor the few over the many.

Funny, he doesn't quite come out and say what his "community" and church has been saying loudly and proudly, that those corporate and lobbyist people are racist whites.
