Hyway - it's all about context. I was looking to put Prosecutor's points in context - without that they are pointless.

You get as selctive as that and what he says loses much of it's value.

If you take ponts away from their contex, ignoring the bigger picture, then it's farly easy to say what you like.

You could portray Hitler and Stalin as great humanitarians.

You could claim Castro and Saddam were great democrats receiving huge electoral support from their people.

You could claim communism is on its way to creating the world's next superpower.

Everything needs to be put in context.

OBAMA'S CHURCH
Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the
Trinity Church of Christ. I found this interesting.
Obama's church:
Please read and go to this church's website and read what is written there.
Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of
The U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn
That this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. No where
is AMERICA even mentioned. Notice too, what color you will need to be if
You should want to join Obama's church...
Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his
(former?) Muslim upbringing.
Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you
get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his
church! And possibly a covert worshiper of the Muslim faith, even today.
This guy desires to rule over America while his loyalty is totally vested
in a Black Africa!

he is good, honest man but when i hear his speeches all i hear are high-level truisms... people want change... the war is bad... America needs credibility in world politics.... civil rights are important... our immigration system is broken. you get done listening to him and all you have learned about the man was what you already knew when he started his speech. when the election comes, if he is nominated by his party, i'll consider voting for him along with the other candidates, but right now he is not interesting to me.

None of the candidates have ever been President of the United States, so they are all equally qualified. I guess technically Hillary has an edge here having DONE a President of the United States, but so has Monica Lewinski and I would not consider her a viable presidental candidate.

The key phrase we're all going to hear until our ears bleed is "change, change, change". Everyone is saying but no one is really saying how...outright. I hear Obama talking a great deal about "fairness" and "equality" and about how he wants an economy that doesn't just work for Wall St. but for Main St. If we listen to his underlying subtext (and others) I hear a lot of not fostering the attitude that we can all make it if we work hard and together. I hear a lot of "I'm here for the little Have Nots guy. They're rich and you're not. Let's bring them down to us."; not "Let's work hard and bring ourselves up to them.".

I get so tired of the stereo typing of the successful and hearing how the middle class is disappearing trying to make it sound as if the middle class is getting poorer and the rich are getting richer. The truth is more middle class people are moving UP, not down.

I've decided Martha Stewart and Hillary Clinton are made out of the same latest, high tech, lightweight titanium.

But Obama can give a mean motivational speech, hey maybe if he doesn't become president he can be a coach of a high school or college sports team.

You are asking about Ron Paul.... he is the shizit in my opinion. He says he's a strict Constitutionalist, and I think he's honest.

He's pro-second amendment

He's anti-abortion, but against the fed doing anything about it

He's against illegal immigration

and that's all I think the Fed should be involved in

Contrary to popular belief, the vast bulk of federal taxes are paid by the wealthy. According to the Joint Committee on Taxation, in 2006, 53.7 percent of all federal income taxes were paid by those with incomes over $200,000. Those with incomes between $100,000 and $200,000 paid 28.3 percent of all individual income taxes. Thus those with incomes over $100,000 paid 82 percent of the total. They also paid 44.4 percent of all payroll taxes.
