Would you work somewhere that you got X amount of dollars for a 40 hour week and the guy working next to you was paid the exact same amount for only 10 hours of work?

I'm simply flabbergasted when people see nothing wrong with taking half of someone's income. Why frickin' try to better yourself when you'll just get penalized for it? It should be irregardless of how much someone makes as to what the percentage is they should pay.

i have always loved the whole "i am the candidate of change" thing. pretty much the entire point of campaigning is to talk about what you want to change if you are elected. candidates that use this line are really trying to define who their opponents are relative to a negative perception of the status-quo. it's clever marketing but not very original... you can engage in a negative campaign without ever making a negative comment.

the democrats will be setting themselves up yet again if they choose a candidate that is totally polarized to voting public. the people that will vote for their candidate would vote for anyone they nominate. the fence-riders will say they will vote one way but when they get to the voting booth they will vote the way they did in the last election.

if you want true change in this country you have to make it yourself. act locally in small groups and don't depend on these meatballs to get the job done for you.
