packs
Anyone ever use Deuter Futura, Aircontact or Guide packs? I am mainly interested in the Guide 45.

I have the futura 42, or something like that. It has the web thing to keep your back from being too hot.

It seemed like a cool pack and I guess it still is, only problem is those kind of packs have a curve and it limits how you can pack your stuff. I've heard the same comments from osprey owners. It's kind of hard to describe but the shape affects the true volume of the pack.

I still like it but consider it a large day pack or a summer pack.

is it a curve around your back? I'll have to bring a bag of stuff and tryit out at the local store here. thanks

I have a Deuter Futura 32 and love it for summer weekenders - the venting on the back is the best
