Actually yes, I do. I used to print shirts for the NFL back in the late 90's.

It used to be that a small quantity of all products for both teams are printed up in advance and are sent to the event to sell. The losing products are supposed to be destroyed as per the contract. Failure to do so is not pretty. The NFL doesn't play when it comes to their brands.

For the rest of the world, printers are on standby with both designs setup to run and ready to go as soon as it is obvious that one team can't win or (in a close game) then the game ends.

The licensed NFL print houses usually subcontracts local printers in each city to handle the initial crush until they can ship in inventory from their main print facilities.
