“Technically there are only a limited number of "combinations" there are actually programs out there that can be used to "break" passwords rather easily....just change them when you get them back....oh take all your porn off the comupter or you may see it online...(LOL)”

i have an old tower here and i've thought about hooking it up, but it's Christopher's and i don't know if it will work with the newer dsl that i have. i do have the old dsl that came with his tower, i suppose i could contact AT&T... Hmmmmmmm i'm not sure what his system is, 98 or XP? What's the gig in his hard drive? Or anything about his tower at all.

oh, and when i get a new computer, will Vista be able to read all the stuff i saved or will i have to uninstall Vista and buy and reinstall XP?

“hey Bob, i do have an external hard drive and there is much on it, but one of the reasons i am packing this baby up is that ALL of the USB ports stopped working and i can no longer save anything that way. i uploaded the rest of my pics to photobucket that were not on the external. i burned some of my documents on CD, which was difficult as the burner works only sporadically. even the power button doesn't work well, it sticks in and then eventually pops out and turns the 'puter off.

anyway, i've saved as much as i can and today is my last day. i'm packing it up and sending it off today.”

“Put the files in a zip file and zip them. Then change the .zip to soething else ie. My files into Myfiles.zip and change it to Myfiles.abc then when you want to recover them search for "myfiles" and change it back to .zip”
