Add lake Ediza to 1000 Island lake loop? ??

“A friend of mine and I will be making the 1000 Island Lake loop from Agnew Meadow via JMT (out) and PCT (back). We want to do a 3 day and as it is a 2 day loop and has the same launch point and first few miles of the Lake Ediza out and back, I was curious if anyone has added that as an option to make the whole trip a 3 day? Day 1 - Agnew to Lake Ediza, Day 2 - Lake Ediza to 1000 Island, Day 3 - 1000 Island to Agnew via PCT. Thoughts, comments appreciated. Other option is to do 1000 Island by itself and stay there for 2 nights.”

“Lake Ediza is beautiful. I would do it if I were you. The PCT is different than the JMT there? They were the same trail when I did it.”
