Land Between the Lakes in March

“My brother lives in Clarksville. I can work out the car issue.”

“You can leave a car at my house if you need to. I'm 20 miles from LBL.”

“Chili, I was planning on car camping at Haw Creek falls campground the night before the hike. I will be going thru Clarksville on my way to the camp. I do not mind meeting you both and hauling you to the camp site. We can shuttle vehicle with Strat the next morning. The campground is a little less than an hour north of Clarksville.”

“LOL, I was talking about Clarksville, TN. Coyote and I could get from LBL to the Ozarks in one vehicle.”

“Not a single word, nf. I don't know what to make of it. If they didn't like me, I would suspect the rejection letter would have already been here.

There is real good chance that both me and Attila are gonna make the trip!! We are looking at hiking through to Golden pond ending on Sunday. We are planning on driving down Friday and would probably make it there around 2:00 PM local time
We would like to leave our car there and will need a ride to the southern end. Is that something we could work out??

“Actually, that works out for me. Staying out on the trail 8 days wasn't the killer, it was when I realized I would be about 650 miles from home on the last hike. I would need a full day to get home.”

It will "suck to be him" if he's not careful. It could end up being a "cold" spring, if ya know what I mean! lol”

I am sure that Attila and I will be leaving from Golden Pond Visitors center on Sunday in the PM, kinda depends on how well we do. I am planning on packing lite, so that means we will be going pretty fast!!
Attila is capable of doing 30 miles in one day, but not me!! LOL.
Chili said something about using a car at Golden Pond to resupply. Do you know whose that is gonna be?
The bottom line is that Attila and I will need a ride to the southern trail head from Golden Pond.
So ya say Fifthmaster is gonna have the boat Friday night huh?? Sounds like a catfish opportunity ta me!! I am bringing my pole just in case.

It will be hard for me to stay at home since I've been thinking about doing this hike for a year. Not sure if I can work it out on several levels. If I'm a maybe, I'm at least one step closer.

The weather is looking good at this point with only 3.5 inches of snow tomorrow!! That gives it seven days ta melt off. Accuweather has a good forecast for the hike. Of course it will change a lot by then.
