BOOM, BOOM!

“At about 9:05 AM the space shuttle let out it's sonic booms as it was coming down over Orlando. I heard them for the first time. They really wacked into my trailer. It was like something hard and heavy hit the trailer, twice. I went to the Florida Room and turned-on the TV. Cameras on the space shuttle showed the runway at the space center as the shuttle broke through the clouds at about 11,000 feet. I walked outside and saw nothing. Returned inside and the shuttle landed at 9:10 AM.

Ho hum, just another day in Florida.”

“nowslimmer, how warm is it there? feels like bloody Minnesota today. We are 30 degrees colder then we should be this time of year!!! Woke up to blowing snow and being outside just makes your skin hurt!”

Right. Yesterday the tabloids over here titeled that YOUR space crap, or parts of it, might fall right on Switzerland. What to hell are you thinking that you are doing there, huh...? You just can't do that.

So something the size of a bus goes outta control. Not good. They'll get an Anomaly Investigation Team on the case to try to keep it from happening again next time.

In the meantime, smaller pieces burn up more completely upon reentry.
