Come on now!
All this rallying around the man, I'd like to see who exactly voted for this guy!

Put your rhetoric aside and grow a pair! Step forward and admit your support for your elected!

ME, both times, and proud of it. There had NEVER been an easier choice. Gore or Kerry would have been disasters.

I would MUCH prefer someone who is more fiscally conservative but his defense of the county has been A+.

Not sure about the "rallying" as you call it, but I did twice.

I'm assuming you voted for Gore and Kerry? Admit that---if you can.

This really is a pretty good troll, rosey. Any answer can be mocked. Nice job.

2 votes for me. It is to bad he cannot remain President for the rest of his life. His face should replace Lincoln's on Rushmore.

I voted for him twice. He has been an economic desaster. He has failed in Iraq also but at the same time he did a lot of that the left would have cheered for had they been done by a democrat.

And at the same time he is hardly this boogyman that is the cause of every woe in the world as people like ENS claim.

Carter didn't start any wars based on manufactured evidence.   Hundreds of thousands did not die needlessly because of his actions.   Any dogcatcher would have done a better job than Bush.

Carter didn't have a hope( where do you hear that now?) to succeed while locked in the Watergate appartments and looking through recent history of losing that south asian operation, you know the one that almost lead to commies in our corn Flakes.

Nixon- Ford were no where near as bad as following Bill and the Six year contract on america.

To Carter's great discredit he presided over a U.S. government that, along with the U.K. government, backed the Khmer Rouge at the United Nations as they were being overthrown by the Vietnamese army in 1979.

The U.S. then re-supplied the Khmer Rouge through Thailand to no avail and the rest is history.

Oh yeah, I voted against Dubya twice.

You guys need some of those new PNAC collar-leashs. When worn the leash just hangs down , but when you contact a US military policy critic the leash assumes an upswept erect position that points out the culprit.

LOL--Just 19% approve of the chimpster. Worse than Richard Nixon in the days before he resigned in disgrace during Watergate, worse than Jimmy Carter during the Iran hostage crisis, much worse than Bill Clinton when he was impeached.

Basically, the worst president in U.S. History.

there is a reason our balloting is secret. there is also a reason why polls are so inaccurate. people routinely lie about how they plan to vote as well as how they actually voted (evidenced by the inaccuracy of exit polls). the reasons they lie are probably as diverse as the people themselves but in my mind it's most likely because of fear of condemnation from the "politically correct" that always seem to have 20:20 hindsight and would be quick to persecute anyone for not voting "correctly". that is exactly what this thread is... an attempt to persecute people based on how they voted in a past election. it's not important who you vote for or whether or not you "stand up" for your candidate... what's important is that you voted... period. it doesn't matter who you voted for or how you formed your opinion. i have more respect for my fellow americans than to herd them into a corner based on their voting record so I can persecute their decisions. why not save that treatment for the candidates whose voting records actually matter?

Wowza. That's some scary stuff. Sounds like what they said to us as kids in public school as we all shook our heads up and down in obvious agreement. Yeah, that's so obvious.

Uh, no. That's bullcrap.

You don't follow the candidates, stay home.

I don't want people voting who have no clue what's going on.

One thing even a bad vote( really no such thing since it's always the lesser of two Knievels and that no longer applies)is that it tells the rulers atleast you are there, not in the bar listening to Rush.

vote how you vote for whatever reason you decide... so long as you vote. the constitution doesn't require you do be intelligent, well informed, literate, rational, well connected, rich or own property to vote. it simply requires that you agree to be represented by the process. i support any american that chooses to vote... period. i don't care how they reached their decision or who they voted for.

if you want to target and persecute gw voters have at it. if it makes you feel superior more power to you. i am sure many will take your bait and the trolls will have a feeding frenzy.

I'll admit it, I voted for him in 2000. 2004 I couldn't in good conscience vote for Bush or Kerry and went third party, much the same way I did in 1996. At this point I've grown so sick of both the Democratic and Republican party's BS, I doubt I'll be voting for either party any time soon.

When the winner in each presidental election receives about the same popular vote as the number of people that receive a government check of some kind, something is wrong and that's the case each 4years.

In 2008 I am voting Obama unless he is not the democratic nominee. In that case, I am voting 3rd party. No way in hell I would ever vote for Hillary. She is a thieve!!! It's dispicable, the way she is trying to steal the election. Did she learn nothing from 2000? It's disgusting when people think they're entitled to be president. She is no better than Bush.

Voted for Bush both times.

Fiscally he is anything but conservative.

Horribly mismanaged Iraq, any weapons facilities could have been dismantled by B52 when UN weapons inspectors refused entry.
Never any need for us to actually go there.

But the alternatives Gore and Kerry were not viable. Did not wish a return to the Carter years when any American was a target worldwide.

Was seriously considering Howard Dean instead of shrub, but no-way Kerry.

Not excited about this years choices, all 3 have their experience ruling by committee (Senate) not as executive.
McCain has been the also ran before.
Hilary - God forbid.
Obama - Unfortunately I would like a little detail around that "change". Change what? change how?

Huckabee is already out on numbers, but his tax plan was unworkable. Throw out everything and start again, sounds about as viable as Obama's change with no specifics.

Ron Paul ? sort of like Pat Robertson when he ran. 10% appears respectable when there are 10 candidates. but that same percentage when there are only 3 candidates left sort of explains it all.
