I don't know. I've got a Shakespeare ultralite telescoping pole for $14 (minus a reel). The thing is probably my favorite trout rod.

XL, you're right, I did grow up in that era, but never used the pocket fisherman. It would be a handy thing to have, but it's hard to imagine any durability at 20 bucks.

Nimble....you are right....I never actually used one, found some line, a stick and a hook with some bait worked pretty good.
