Little Liam, baby boy
thanks again everyone. The hoax was that it was never a hoax.

here is a pic of the lil one.

This was a couple of days ago, while still at the hospital. He's even cuter now. He looks so much like his beautiful mommy. :)

Hey, you should consider doing what the Plateau Indians in Oregon did to their young and tie a board to his forehead so it has an angled shape.

Just kidding. Cute kid!

Thanks!! You guys are ever so sweet...and so silly!

He has big hands and feet, for sure...the biggest feet EVER! And the sharpest little heels...I can just picture them digging into me. And sticking that big butt up inside my tummy! It's so funny to see him now, and match up all the little (and big) movements. I swear, I really can't believe all of him was inside my belly just a few days ago!! It seems impossible.

He is even cuter with every passing day, if you can believe it, Sass! :-D

I'm feeling pretty good, thanks, Creek Dancer. I'm sore, of course, but not too bad...and I'd heard lots of horror stories about back pain and complications from epidurals, but I guess I escaped all of that. The best part is, no housework for a couple weeks!! Really, I talked the baby into his weirdo position so I could be waited upon for awhile. ;-)

His Momma is warm, friendly, and kind-hearted. Ske likes to laugh, she listens to good music, and has great taste in food. Is it any wonder BabySky was in no rush to leave basecamp lyra?!?

Hey again, peeps! I really appreciate all the comments. Bobo, you can be very sweet sometimes! You can be his fairy godmother, how about that? ;-D

Hope you can come up and see him soon, jackstraw!

That's good your wife's baby turned in time, Violin. Liam was a stubborn little baby! At one point in labor, he did start turning around towards the front, but then he got it in his head to swing around towards the back instead. He actually did have somewhat of a conehead, just a little moulded portion on the top of his noggin...from trying to press through 8cm for so long.

Thanks for the props, Smiley! I guess I went around 30 hours before we tried the epidural, so I have to say I'm proud of that. But by the time the epidural came, I was ready for it, that's for sure!

You guys did good lyra. I stuck to my Plan A (no ceasarian) and my son suffered a birth injury that he will have to live with the rest of his life.

Don't forget to take good care of yourself. It's easy to forget about yourself when you have a new baby. Ok, enuf unsolicited advice from me!

Enjoy you little guy!
